In 2008, Hotel Sisimiut ApS was officially registered and is today operated by Anette Grønkjær Lings and Bo Lings, with Magnus Agerskov serving as chairman of the board.

Anette, who acts as the managing director, works closely with Bo and Magnus to ensure the hotel’s continued growth and development. Together, they focus on promoting sustainability, supporting the local community, and creating authentic experiences for their guests. Their dedication goes beyond the hotel, as Anette and Bo also founded Backcountry Greenland, offering immersive tours in Greenland’s breathtaking wilderness.

Hotel Sisimiut is and will remain 100% Greenlandic owned. With a deep passion for Greenland’s beauty and adventures, Anette often reminds everyone of their guiding philosophy: “On tour – Happy for sure!” A mindset that reflects the dedication and joy the entire team brings to their work every day.
