The room(s) are available from 12:00 PM on the day of arrival. The room(s) must be vacated by 10:00 AM on the day of departure. If the room is vacated later than 10:00 AM on the day of departure, the guest will be charged for an additional night’s stay.

Room cleaning occurs daily between 9:00 AM and 3:00 PM. If cleaning is obstructed or made difficult by luggage or other items belonging to the guest, HOTEL SISIMIUT reserves the right to skip cleaning for that day. Towels are changed daily as needed. For stays longer than 3 days, bed linen will be changed as needed. If the guest’s luggage is still in the room after the checkout time, HOTEL SISIMIUT reserves the right to pack the luggage and store it.

Valuables left/forgotten in the room or hotel will be stored for a maximum of 1 month after departure. Items can be sent by mail upon payment of a processing and packaging fee of DKK 200, plus necessary postage or carrier charges. Items will only be sent upon prepayment of the fee and postage, and items cannot be sent cash on delivery.

HOTEL SISIMIUT is not responsible for the loss or theft of valuables and luggage in the room or elsewhere in the hotel.

The parties are individually responsible for complying with the booking agreement according to legal regulations, with the following exceptions: In cases of force majeure and/or other extraordinary circumstances beyond HOTEL SISIMIUT’s direct control—including but not limited to fire, water damage, strike/lockout, and illness among staff—HOTEL SISIMIUT is entitled to cancel the agreement without notice and without liability for damages.

HOTEL SISIMIUT’s liability for compliance with the agreement can never exceed the total price of the booking, and any compensation does not include indirect losses, such as lost profits. Transportation and travel costs for alternative accommodation are not covered.

Hotel Sisimiut is completely non-smoking; any violations will result in a charge of DKK 2,000 for cleaning.
