Intro and Backcountry – Snowmobile

Join us on an unforgettable journey through Greenland’s beautiful winter landscape with this snowmobile tour. Whether you are a beginner or have some practice, this tour is perfect and suitable for you. The tour combines our Newbie Intro Tour with the popular Backcountry Tour, so everyone has a good starting point to experience the nature and landscape of the great outdoors.

Learn the basics first:  
You start your journey with our Newbie Intro Tour, where you learn the basic skills. You start with a training course, where you become comfortable with maneuvering, control of the machine and body movements, before heading out on prepared tracks to enjoy the beautiful surroundings.

Experience the backcountry:  
With the skills acquired from the introduction, you are now ready to embrace on our Backcountry Tour. Here you will get deeper into the great Greenlandic nature with varied terrain and spectacular views of Kangerluarsuk Tulleq/ first fjord and the harsh winter landscape at Qeqertursuup Majoriaq/ Arctic Circle Viewpoint. The tour combines excitement and relaxation, so you can enjoy everything from the adrenaline rush to the serenity of the fresh, crackling Arctic air. Along the way, there are breaks for photo opportunities and stories from our guide. 

Please note: when driving a snowmobile, it is important to stay warm to have a comfortable experience. Dress in layers! You can also rent thermal suits and boots at Hotel Sisimiut, at the location where the tour also starts with an intro.
