Winter Safari UTV

Join us on an exciting winter mountain safari as we explore the snow-capped landscapes of Sisimiut’s great backcountry in a UTV (Utility Terrain Vehicle). 

As the only town in Greenland with direct access to such great wilderness, Sisimiut offers a unique opportunity to experience our breathtaking nature.  
 
Your journey begins with a scenic drive along the Arctic Circle Trail route. We will make a few stops along the way for the guide to tell a little about the area and the opportunity to take lots of great photos. As we get further into the backcountry, we will climb the rugged slopes of Nasaasaaq Mountain in the UTV.

Our rest stop is the lower viewpoint at Nasaasaaq. Here we have panoramic views of Sisimiut and the David Strait await, framed by magnificent terrain shaped by ice age glaciers.  
 
Unlike more challenging mountain hikes in Greenland, this guided UTV tour makes the amazing views accessible to everyone, regardless of physical ability. The agility of the UTV allows us to navigate the slopes with ease, ensuring that adventurers of all ages can enjoy the spectacular backcountry without straining themselves.
