Experience the striking landscapes of Sisimiut’s backcountry in a UTV (Utility Terrain Vehicle).
As the only town in Greenland with a dirt road that extends 160 kilometers into the backcountry and all the way to Kangerlussuaq, Sisimiut is the perfect starting point for this scenic adventure.
We’ll pass through the sled dog town, cross a bridge over a crystal-clear river, and enter the backcountry, where mountains tower on three sides. The tour provides fantastic views over the landscape, including areas that transform into sled dog trails in winter, winding through the mountains.
The UTV safari offers everyone the chance to explore the rugged terrain without the need for hiking.
We’ll make a stop by a creek, where you can drink from the fresh, pure water and enjoy the stunning surroundings.
