Join us on an exciting snowmobile journey into the heart of the backcountry
This adventurous tour is designed for those eager to explore some more of the breathtaking landscapes of the backcountry between Sisimiut and Kangerlussuaq.
As you navigate a diverse range of terrain — including frozen lakes, scenic fjords and exciting hill driving — you will be treated to magnificent panoramic viewpoints. Keep an eye out for dog sled tracks as we traverse this enchanting landscape.
Halfway through our adventure, we will take a break in a cozy cabin by one of the surrounding fjords to enjoy a packed lunch and rest before continuing our exploration.
Please note: When snowmobiling, it is important to stay warm for a comfortable experience. Dress in layers! You can also rent thermal suits and boots at Hotel Sisimiut, the location where the tour also starts with an intro.
Please note: Previous experience with ATVs or snowmobiles is recommended due to the technical nature of this tour. For safety reasons, passengers are not permitted behind new drivers on this tour.
The “Into the Wild” snowmobile tour is approximately 4 hours long and is dependent on natural snow conditions.
