Days of Snowmobile adventure
Program
  • Day 1 – Arrival, Gear Up & Intro Ride
Welcome to Sisimiut – one of the world’s most exciting snowmobile destinations. Here, dramatic terrain and endless views come together to offer the perfect mix of freedom, adrenaline, and pure Arctic beauty.

After check-in at our Backcountry Hotel Sisimiut, it’s time to gear up and get ready. You’ll be equipped with a helmet, outerwear, and snowmobile gear – unless you prefer to bring your own.

Once dressed and ready, we’ll head out for an introductory ride to test the equipment and get a feel for the snow, the machines, and the first stretch of trail.

In the evening, we gather for a welcome dinner featuring the Nasaasaaq Special – a delicious local introduction to your Arctic adventure.

  • Day 2 – Deep into the North (160 km)
Today we open the throttle and go all in. After a quick warm-up through know terran from yesterday, we ride straight into the northern backcountry, following a powerful and scenic route that leads us all the way to into Nerumaq along the Arctic Circle Trail – a remote gem deep in the Greenlandic mountains.

From there, we loop around the northern lands, crossing vast open terrain, frozen fjords, and winding snow tracks. This is where you’ll truly feel the freedom of the Arctic. We ride far – and we ride hard.

Expect around 160 km of intense, beautiful riding – and the sense that you’re somewhere few others have ever been.

Back at Hotel Sisimiut, it’s time to unwind: wilderness hot tub and a cold beer under the open sky. The evening ends with a hearty dinner at Restaurant Nasaasaaq.

  • Day 3 – The Glacier Mission (100 km)
This is it – the ultimate ride to the legendary Aqqutikitsoq Glacier. The route has it all: thrilling climbs, dramatic valleys, wide plateaus, and the humbling sight of the glacier itself, rising from the snow like a frozen monument.

We ride with purpose, energy, and awe – taking our time when the view demands it, and charging forward when the trail opens up.

The real magic happens on the glacier itself. This is not just a viewpoint – it’s a full immersion. We don’t just stop and stare – we ride down onto the glacier, surrounded by its towering mountains and ancient, creaking silence. For a moment, it feels like the world pauses. The scale is overwhelming, almost supernatural – the kind of place that reminds us how small we really are.

It’s one of those rare experiences where nature doesn’t just impress – it humbles.

After a long and majestic day in the high mountains, we roll straight to Kisaq Cabin, where a rustic BBQ with local wild meat awaits. Good food, warm fire, mountain air – and stories that will last forever.

  • Day 4 – High Ridges & True Exploration (150 km)
Today we head deep into the highlands north of Kangerluarsuk Ungalleq, with our eyes set on the towering ridge of Ungalliup Qaqqai.

This is pure backcountry – raw, untouched, and absolutely stunning. Frozen fiords, windswept trails, wide snowfields – every moment feels like discovery. We cover around 150 km on one of the most visually striking routes of the journey.

Back at the hotel, the wild is washed away in the outdoor hot tub with a beer in hand, before sitting down to a Greenlandic buffet at Restaurant Nasaasaaq – a warm and generous spread of traditional dishes and Greenland cuisine.

  • Day 5 – Into the Wild (60 km)
Our final ride is a peaceful and reflective journey that takes us through known land turning and then southbound to Narsaq, a beautiful and remote spot known for its open terrain and quiet surroundings. Nestled right at the water’s edge, Narsaq brings us close to the edge of the sea ice – where the Arctic Ocean stretches out beneath towering ice formations.

On the return, we stop at the “lillte cabin” for lunch bring the trip full circle.

In the afternoon back in Sisimiut, you have the chance to experience an optional dog sledding tour – a timeless, soul-stirring way to end your Arctic journey.

That evening, we gather for a 3-course farewell dinner at Nasaasaaq with your guide and group. One last toast to all you’ve seen and done.

  • Day 6 – Departure
After breakfast, it’s time to say goodbye and transfer to the airport. The snow may melt – but the experience will stay with you.

Guided by locals who know this land like their own backyard – and who also happen to be great company. Booking for the 2026 season opens soon. Spots are limited – don’t miss your chance to ride far, laugh hard, and be part of something truly wild.
