1. Late Arrivals:
   • Guests arriving later than 6:00 PM must notify the hotel during reservation. Otherwise, the reservation may be canceled at 6:00 PM.
2. Cancellations or Changes:
   • Must be made in writing at least 1 day before arrival.
   • A 5% fee applies to payments made by credit card.
3. No-Shows:
   • If guests do not show up without timely cancellation (by 2:00 PM on the arrival date), the first night will be charged as a No Show, along with a 5% credit card fee.

3. Special Services:
   • Specially ordered services requiring additional costs for the hotel will incur a 100% fee. However, if the services are resold under normal conditions, this fee may be reduced proportionally.

Reservations and Insurance:

• Backcountry Greenland Hotel Sisimiut and Tours (BGHS) holds product insurance and ensures compliance with safety and insurance regulations for all transportation, including boats approved by the Danish Maritime Authority and helicopters certified by Greenlandic aviation authorities.

Reservation Confirmation:

• Reservations are confirmed upon full payment unless otherwise agreed.

Cancellations by BGHS:

• BGHS reserves the right to cancel tours or activities due to:
  • Insufficient participant enrollment.
  • Adverse weather or ice conditions.
  • Technical issues with transportation.
  • Search and rescue operations.
  • Other unforeseen circumstances.
• Full refunds, including fees, will be provided for BGHS cancellations.

Customer-Initiated Cancellations or Changes:

• Once an excursion is paid and confirmed, it is not possible to cancel, transfer, or modify the ticket.

Minimum Number of Participants:

• Certain excursions require a minimum number of participants. If this is not met, the excursion may be canceled up to 1 hour before departure. Alternative options or refunds will be offered.

Shortened Excursions:

• Tours may be shortened or altered due to weather, safety, or other factors. No compensation will be provided unless the reduction exceeds 35% of the total duration.

Schedule Adjustments:

BGHS reserves the right to adjust scheduled times as necessary.

Price Changes After Booking:

• Prices may change due to fluctuations in fuel costs, taxes, or other unforeseen factors.

Liability:

• BGHS disclaims responsibility for cancellations or delays caused by external factors, missed excursions due to customer delays, or compensation for undelivered experiences.

Complaints:

• Complaints should be reported during the excursion or immediately afterward. Unresolved complaints must be submitted in writing within 3 weeks of the excursion’s conclusion.

Insurance:

• BGHS’s insurance does not cover personal belongings. Customers should secure their own travel insurance.
