Behind the scenes of a greenlandic dog sled tour 

You will have the chance to get up close to sled dogs by actively participating in the preparation of the sled and dogs; thereby experience and be a part of their fascinating daily life. Experience how dog sledding, deeply rooted in Inuit culture, has made it possible for generations to travel through the beautiful Arctic landscape.

After departing on the sled, we will come through the breathtaking Kisaq Valley, with beautiful mountains around. At Kisaq, an adorable cabin and beautiful frozen waterfall, we will take a well-deserved break, where the dogs rest, while you can enjoy a hot drink with the magnificent view of the winter landscape and the frozen waterfall. After that, the tour will return to the “dog town”.

Upon our return to the “dog town”, you will have the opportunity to put the dogs in their place and talk and cuddle with the dogs. The dogs enjoy a sled ride as much as you do.

When you are riding a dog sled, it is essential to stay warm so that you can enjoy the entire trip. For that you can rent thermal suits and boots through us (150 DKK).

Please note: we do not recommend sled rides for people with back problems.

The trip lasts two hours in total and costs 1,300 DKK for a single participant and 1,100 DKK for each if there is more than one participant.

Remember: when interacting with Greenlandic sled dogs, you must always respect them and always listen to your guide’s instructions and directions.
