Intro and Backcountry

• Meeting in the Reception:
  Your guide will meet you in the reception area of Hotel Sisimiut and show you a brief instructional video.
• Introduction and training course:
  We start with learning basic maneuvers and getting familiar with the snowmobile.
• Ready to Ride:
  Once everyone feels comfortable and ready, the journey begins into Sisimiut’s breathtaking backcountry. Travel through Nasaasaaq Valley, passing by the renowned Qoorsuaq cliffs, a site where locals test their skills with daring snowmobile stunts. From there, the tour continues through the bottleneck, into the Sisimiut Highlands, past the Arctic Circle Race camp area, and onto Qeqertursuup Majoriaq/Arctic Circle View Point. Here, we take a longer break, offering plenty of time to capture stunning photos and learn about the area. On a clear day, you can gaze far into the Arctic Circle Trail, gaining a sense of the vastness of this incredible land. Along the way, the guide will make several stops to share insights about the surroundings, allowing participants to fully immerse themselves in the experience and appreciate the tranquil silence.
• Return to Hotel Sisimiut:
  End the tour and return to Hotel Sisimiut after a few thrilling hours exploring the awe-inspiring backcountry.
